The main inspiration for Biznss was to create a contacts app that would transcend the boundaries of any one ecosystem, with features that would bind together users of android and iOS alike. What does that mean? I wanted to create an app that allowed users to add contacts through the app that would automatically sync, making them always up to date.
Biznss in-app Connections do just that. You can add another user’s Biznss card as a Connection, and as long as that Connection exists, every time the owner of the Biznss card changes any of the details in it, it will also update for all the recipients. The result is no more stale contact details, and connections that stand the test of time.
Requirements
To add in-app Connections, users are required to create a free account. If you are using an android device, you will create an account using Sign in with Google. On ios, you will use Sign in with Apple.
How to add in-app Connections
Adding in-app Connections is super simple. All you have to do is scan another users’ Biznss card with your app. To do so, go to my Connections and tap the + button. Select the Scan qr-code option and scan the qr-code in the Biznss card. If the Biznss card owner has enabled in-app sharing, their information will be added as a Connection. From that moment on, any changes made to the Biznss card details will automatically sync. If your contact changes his/her phone number or email, the new information will show you or Connection without you having to do anything.
Extend Profile
If you look at the above illustration, you will see what a Connection looks like. When you share your Biznss card in-app, that is what your recipients will see.
If you pay close attention to the devices on the right of the illustration you will notice a difference between the light and dark color background screen shots.
The device on the right shows one of our newer features called Extended Profile.
Extended Profile allows you to share more about you, your brand or business, and links to your online presence. This content is dynamic, managed from your in-app user Profile.
You can choose to share your Extended Profile along with your business card, thus if you have multiple Biznss cards (ex. Personal and Professional) you can select which of them you’d like to include the additional information.
Custom Backgrounds
Beyond adding an aesthetically pleasing look to your Biznss card, custom background are also visible as part of your details on your recipients Connections. A custom background can serve as a way to remember you, so make sure you choose one that complements your personality.
In-app Connections over time
Not all Connections are meant to stand the test of time. Therefore we allow both the owner of the Biznss card or the recipient to end the sync at any time.
